L'OrĂ©al Paris Mousse Absolue is the first reusable permanent hair colour. The unique two chamber system freshly combines your colour at the touch of a button. Mousse Absolue diffuses a rich, non-drip mousse and a precise and easy application.

By using the 'first' reusable permanent hair colour, this is showing that it is an innovative product. The target audience for this product is women as a women features on the packet. The language used in the advert like 'rich' and 'precise' gives the buyer a sense of what they are buying is top of the range and high quality. The phrase 'at a touch of a button' means that it will be quick to do and also simple as the phrase its self is quick and easy to say.

Mini Cooper

MINI John Cooper Works

The Big Bad Bruiser.

When you need muscle, call for John Cooper Works. Get more MINI with a big powerful drive and bold styling that’s not for the fainthearted. Restraint? It doesn't know the meaning of the word.

There are many different variations of the mini cooper, but this model in particular is for the younger, more male dominated audience. This is down to its more aggressive form of styling. The racing flag in the picture above shows that this car as a racing pedigree. The emphasis on "The Big Bad Bruiser" is that this car is the 'muscle' of the mini cooper range, which in a way is ironic as the mini cooper, 'mini' meaning small,  is always seen as a small compact car.

Frosties Cereal

They're more than good, They're great!

The frosties cereal is in a unique dark blue box, with the frosties mascot, Tony the tiger featuring on the front of the box. The tiger is featured as the mascot as it shows children (the target audience of the cereal) that if they eat frosties sugar coated flakes they will grow up big and strong just like Tony. The tagline "they're more than good, they're great!" will make children think that this cereal is better than any other cereal around.

Perfume

The Sensual Fragrance. A Floriental Fruity with the key ingredients of Cranberry & Tonka Mousse, this fragrance is for an alluring flirt with a romantic spirit. Playful and irresistible, this modern woman follows her heart... and she just might break yours. The eye-catching pink bottle is complemented by a green oversized polo pony icon opposite a cool blue number 2.

Ralph Lauren Perfume- Analysis of the language used in the perfumes advert.

The words used in the advertisement for this new fragrance are significantly feminine, like the word 'floriental' which is related to flowers and is used to describe the scent of the perfume. Also another word i'd like to highlight that represents my feminine statement is 'romantic'. The word romantic is used to express love, and for women, the thought of a perfume that is described as romantic highlights the fragrance as a distinguished flirty smell which many women would be mad not to purchase, as the thought of making themselves 'irresistible' is hard to ignore.

Cadburys Chocolate Bar...

Dairy Milk is a distinctive chocolate bar, with its unique packaging it stands out from any other chocolate brand. The packaging is a bright purple, with the Dairy Milk logo clearly stated on the front of the bar in a bold white font. Also Cadbury has added a picture of some milk being poured on the 'Milk' part of the logo, this is a clever way to show that milk is added into the product and that it is milk chocolate.

Technology- Xbox

With the largest library of games, Xbox 360 has something for everyone. Enjoy unrivalled multiplayer games online with friends, and watch HD movies, music and sports. More than just a game console, Xbox 360 and Xbox Live turn your living room into the ultimate entertainment venue with a huge range of games, movies, songs and more available at the touch of a button.

The Xbox....
This advert really sells the Xbox, the Xbox is targeted at everyone, as it says in the caption above 'has something for everyone' There isn't a main target audience for this console because there is a wide range of games you can purchase, from racing car games for the boys to dress up doll games for the girls. The main reason for the Xbox is for fun and its a fun way to bring the family closer as it says in the caption 'turn your living room into the ultimate entertainment venue with a huge range of games, movies, songs...' Also at the end of the caption it states that the games are all available at the touch of a button, this will make people more likely to buy the product if they know they wont have to keep going out to shops to purchase game for their console because they can just sit back and do it at the touch of a button. The advert is full of many selling phrases that really stand out and make the Xbox original and different to other consoles by the language use of enticing and exciting words used in the caption.

Barbie- Girls Toys

Barbie and friends love fashion and new trends. This season metallic and magnificent and the dolls all shine in stylish looks. Glittery hair streaks and mod accessories add extra-special flair!
Analysis...
The audience for the Barbie doll toy is targeted at young girls as the dolls are girls themselves and also Barbie is associated with fashion and makeup (all girly things) as it says in the caption above 'Barbie and friends love fashion and new trends'.
The caption above captures its audience by explaining all the new features that 'Barbie' is now featuring, like the new glittery hair streaks that the new Barbie doll has. This will entice all the Barbie doll collectors and they'll want to have the latest Barbie doll. Also by using the word 'glittery' it will automatically stick inside the mind of a young girl because girls love glitter.

Hot Wheels- Boys Toys

Get in the driver's seat and take the Hot Wheels Challenge with Team Hot Wheels! Choose your team then show off your skills with cool action-packed tracksets, cars and more! Whether it's racing and jumping cars, building the biggest track and even making your own cars or creating exciting stunts, Hot Wheels has it all!

HOT WHEELS!-

The advert for this toy is extremely enticing within the first sentence of this advert as it uses a persuasive first line to guide its captive audience to the toy. The captive audience for this toy is without a doubt young boys, as the toys are cars (cars being the main toy associated with boys) and the purpose of this toy is to race against your friends with all the different cars you can purchase. The advert also adds excitement to the fact of owning this toy as it has included words like 'cool action-packed tracksets, cars and more!' Using the words 'and more' after already using commas to list what the toys include adds a feel of excitement as well, as the young boys reading this advert will be hooked to reading the rest of the advert and they will want to eventually collect all the different cars and tracks available. Lastly the final phrase in the advert is 'Hot Wheels has it all!' This is a fantastic phrase to finish the advert with as it leaves the child who has just read the advert full of excitement and need for that amazing toy.

Pom-bear Crisps Analysis

Audience- Children, because the packaging that the crisps are held in is a brightly coloured red packet with a very clear and large logo which makes it extremely eye catching for the child. Also the many pictures of teddy bears on the packet also clearly states that the target audience for these crisps are children as we associate teddy bears with children.

What is featured on the packet- The packet clearly states that these crisps are; Gluten free, they have no artificial colours and there are no artificial preservatives in the crisps. This will be a big statement that parents will look out for as they know the crisps are healthy and suitable for their children. Also the eye catching logo and the large picture of the teddy bear in the middle of the packet will particularly stand out to children, making them want to buy the crisps.

Theme Park Analysis

Theme Park Ride...

THE SWARM has mutated! The sting is in its tail as the attack against planet Earth continues.
Be dragged backwards into a blind 127ft drop before hurtling through the wasted landscape in a series of gut-wrenching near misses, including, new for 2013, the mangled metal of a devastated billboard.
Face the fear head on, or brave it backwards on the last two rows… do you dare take on THE SWARM?

The Swarm:
"The sting is in its tail as the attack against planet Earth contiues" this opening sentence shouts out excitement as the word 'attack' is used to present the way the ride has finally arrived at the theme park. Also the text uses some adjectives like 'dragged' and 'hurtling' to represent how the ride is going to be moving you around the course, these words are usually taken as negative actions but in this case it is to explain the extreme movements of the ride.

The purpose of this caption is to get potential riders of the swarm excited and eager to ride the extreme rolleroaster that is The Swarm.
